Re-openning last session in Chrome

Yesterday, I updated my my Chrome browser from version 0.2.149.29 to version 0.2.149.30, I didn't notice much difference and I didn't expected so, because usually this kind of minor updates are just about stability & security issues.
But actually, there was a difference. Usually, when I close my browser, I keep few tabs opened to continue what I'm doing next time. The one problem I was facing earlier that when I open my browser again, the browser has to reload all the pages I left open from the last time. This might not be a problem for people working ADSL or T1 connections, but for me, it is! Because I'm working on a dial-up connection, which is too slow.
But now with this latest version of Chrome the problem has been resolved. Now, even all the old pages are reopened, but they don't reload until I open that tap. So when I open my browser the tab that I was last on will reload, but others won't till I click on it to open it. Or after a while from opening Chrome, other tabs will load one after another, even if I didn't opened that other tabs.
There are some other stuff also under the hood that I don't know yet.

Google Chrome comic story

I've stumbled today upon a very nice comic story about Google Chrome, the brand new browser from Google.  It talks about technical issues, its features, and the new ideas applied by chrome team for the new generation of web browsers.

When I started to read the story, I couldn't stop to the end.  I suggest you to read it if you'd like to understand how google staf think about thier products, especialy Google Chrome.

Right to Left support in Gmail

Finally, gmail applies the text direction (left to right & right to left) control.

Since I write more than 60% of my messages in Arabic, I found it really annoying not being able to control the direction of the text I'm writing in the message body.  Wh
en you write a message in Arabic without the right to left (rtl) support, any special character you put at the end of the line like dots, exclamation marks, or comas it goes back the biginning of the line which is at right, where it usualy the end of the line in English.  And while writing, each space you put in between words, the cursor goes back to the beginning of the line as well.

But now, with the rtl support, it's all resolved.

If you still can't find these two cute buttons when you compose a new message or add a reply to a conversation got the gmail settings page and select "Right-to-left editing support on" on the top of the page, in the language section.

I'm getting started

Since I ever founded tech talk blog, I wanted to put my thoughts about programs, websites, or even simple functionalty, and anything I want talk about with my friends.  But never pulled my self to start typing having the fear of mistakes.  Finally I decided to make mistakes, because making mistakes means making something and being active in life.

Expect me to write many thing from now on...

see ya soon,

About Tech Talk Tickles

I'm going to talk about technologies and some of its news.  Tech Talk Tickles interested about what I find worth talking about including softwares, websites, programming languages, and other worthy stuff.  Posts (or as I call it "talks") include talks about some softwares entirely or just a small button job in a numerous functional software.  Tech talk is not limited to desktop softwares, webapps are something very important current days, and expected to dominate over desktop softwares as well; so, they're absolute included in tech talks.

The brief is, if you are interested about the refered topics you will, no doubt, find something interesting in between lines.
